The Youth Sports STAR (Sportsmanship, Teamwork, Attitude, Respect) Award is presented by the Kansas Recreation and Park Association annually to the youth sports team in the state of Kansas that best demonstrates the values of sportsmanship as reflected by its players, coaches and parents.  Teams may be nominated by KRPA members who have signed the Our Promise to Kids commitment.

The Yout Sports STAR Award is sponsored by Southeastern Security Consultants, Inc. (SSCI) and presented each year at the KRPA Conference and Trade Show.
